Changing the Touch Response of
the Keyboard
This keyboard is equipped with a Touch Response
feature that lets you expressively control the dynam-
ics as you play the keyboard, and has four different
strength settings.

Press the [FUNCTION] button to call up
the Function display.

Rotate the dial until "TouchRes" (Func-
tion 005) is shown on the display.

The current Touch Response setting is shown on

Setting the Time Signature
You can change the Time Signature from the default.
Here, let's try changing it to 6/8.

While holding down the [SHIFT] button,
press the [METRONOME] button.
The number of beats per measure is shown on
the display.
Keep holding down.

Rotate the dial to select the number of
beats per measure.
A chime accent sounds on the first beat of each
measure, and a click sounds on the other beats.
When "00" is selected, a click sounds on all
beats. Here, select "06."

• This parameter cannot be set during playback of a Style,
Song or Groove.

Rotate the dial to call up "TimeSigD"
(Time Signature Denominator).

beat from 2 (half), 4 (quarter), 8 (eighth) or
16 (sixteenth) note duration.
