In BlackBerry Enterprise Server version 4.1 SP4 and later, "GWXMLData::ContactSyncRecordToXML() Unknown Tag (Birthday)"
messages were logged at level 20000 and were shown in the event log as warning messages.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server version 4.1 SP6, this message is logged at level 40000.
