Warning!
Should you decide to mount jack, make sure mounting panel is no
thicker than 1/8" otherwise the jack threads won't protrude enough to
engage with nut. (If necessary, use Dremel or sander to thin panel). Mounting
jack is not necessary for operation but makes for a stock appearance and
easier to connect and disconnect audio devices.
Test Operation
Turn Radio "ON"

Press "BAND" button repeatedly until XM is displayed

ost recent XM channel will play, otherwise there may be
XM subscribers: M
silence.
Connect audio device to 3.5mm jack using 3 ft. Audio cable or similar (See

Fig. 9).

Search audio device for test track and hit play. Audio device will play on the

car speakers.
Use radio volume control button to set playback level.

Warning!
Playlist and Track selection is *NOT* possible from radio
buttons. You must use audio devices built-in controls to access audio
files.
If "Active" version of this cable was purchased: disconnected 3.5mm audio

cable from jack and operate XM as customary
If correct operation is confirmed go ahead and reinstall the Radio
