Q-AV Rear Speaker

Introduction

The Q-AV Rear speaker acoustically matches the Q-AV LCR providing

rear ambient sound in a multi-channel surround system. This unique

speaker is designed to wall mount at low skirting board or ceiling level,

the most convenient position for running cables. In either position it will

seamlessly integrate with the Q-AV LCR.

The Q-AV Rear speaker can also be used as a secondary speaker

system for multi-room applications or in public areas such as

restaurants, shops etc where low level background music is needed. It is

not suitable for use as the main speaker in a hi-fi system.

Installation

The Q-AV Rear speaker comes fitted with a desk stand and should

always be positioned with its back to the wall for optimum performance.

The performance will be impaired if the speaker is positioned away from

the rear wall. When the speaker is to be wall mounted remove the desk

stand by pulling gently.

First remove the metal grille using the tool provided 'H'. Hook the end of

the tool through one of the grilles perforated holes in the side of the grille

and pull gently, the grille will come free.

To release the wall bracket from the back of the speaker remove screw

(J). Using the bracket as a template drill and plug the fixing holes in the

appropriate position and with screws capable of securing the weight of

the Q-AV Rear speaker.
