ページを印刷するAll lateral arm awnings sold by abc Sun Control, LLC have a convenient pitch adjustment feature which allows the owner to easily adjust the pitch (degree of incline of the fabric relative to the vertical
surface that the awning is attached to). When adjusting the pitch it is recommended that the awning is half way or less extended and that the arm is supported with upward pressure to reduce the pressure
on the adjustment mechanism. The pitch adjustment is located in the shoulder (the part that connects the arm to the torsion bar) of the arm and can be adjusted with a wrench or socket.
The pitch of the awning can be adjusted during the year to provide maximum shading e ect as the sun travels with the seasons. We recommend always maintaining a minimum 20 degree pitch to allow
the awning to shed water. This should be taken into account when positioning the awning on the mounting surface as this will a ect the position of the front bar relative to the ground. The chart below
demonstrates the impact of pitch on the projection of the awning and drop of the front bar.
