Taking an Extra Measurement During the Recording
The unit takes measurements at predetermined intervals. Extra measurements can be taken at any
time, press either the green or the blue control button to display the measurement screen and press
again to take an extra measurement.
Interrupting a Measurement During the Recording
To interrupt a measurement, press either of the control buttons during the measurement.
The next measurement will take place according to the schedule.
Changing the Batteries During a 48 Hour Recording
Preventive changing the batteries after 24 hours:
1.
Press the blue button for 4 seconds. Confirm message "Change battery" again with
the blue button.
2.
Remove the batteries and replace with the fully charged batteries supplied.
Observe correct polarity.
3.
Press the green button to switch the unit on. The following message is displayed:
"Blood pressure measurement Next Meas .... xx:xx".
4.
Make an entry in the patient diary.
Or when the audible beep is heard and one of the following messages are displayed:
WARNING
BATTERY LOW
Change
battery
1.
Confirm message "Change battery" again with the blue button.
2.
Remove the batteries and replace with the fully charged batteries supplied. Observe correct
polarity.
3.
Press the green button to switch the unit on. The following message is displayed:
"Blood pressure measurement Next Meas .... xx:xx".
4.
Make an entry in the patient diary.
Do not dispose of the old batteries - return them to the surgery.
