ParkSense Sensors
The ParkSense Park Assist system can provide visual and audible indications of the distance between the rear, and if
equipped, the front bumper and a detected obstacle when backing up or moving forward during a parking maneuver.
Turn your ParkSense system on and
off by using the ParkSense switch.
The chime volume settings can
be programmed through your
touchscreen.
KEEP IN MIND:
If the system detects an object, the vehicle brakes may automatically be applied and released.
The automatic braking function is intended to assist the driver avoid a possible collision
when obstacles are detected while in REVERSE gear.
If your vehicle is equipped with
front and rear ParkSense, you
will find six sensors located on
both the front and rear bumpers.
If your vehicle is equipped with
rear ParkSense only, you will find
four sensors on the rear bumper.

ParkSense Visual Warnings
When the sensors detect an obstacle, a chime will
sound and the ParkSense Park Assist warning will
appear in the instrument cluster display. The system
will show arcs in the area of the obstacle based
on relative distance and location. As you approach
the obstacle, the arcs will move and the chime will
change from slow to fast to continuous.
KEEP IN MIND:
The front sensors can detect obstacles
from 12 to 47 inches and the rear
