MP3 INPUT
CONNECTING THE MP3 PLAYER TO THE AMPLIFIER:
Never use microphone cables for speaker connections as this will not be
substantial enough to handle the amplifiers load and could damage
the amplifier. To connect your MP3 player to the BPA18 amplifier you will need
to purchase the appropriate cable:
•
Most MP3 players require a 1/8" stereo to 1/8" stereo cable. An Ashton
1/8" stereo to 1/8" stereo cable (pictured below) can be purchased at your nearest
Ashton dealer.
•
The MP3 input can also be used to input other AUX devices, such as CD player
units; you will need to purchase the appropriate cable for the device you wish to
plug into the amplifier.
WHEN PLUGGING AN MP3 PLAYER INTO THE AMPLIFIER:
•
When plugging your MP3 player into the BPA18 amplifier, always make sure the
volume is turned to the minimum. Once plugged in, adjust the volume on the MP3
player accordingly - this will protect both your amp and your ears!
Note:
You can only adjust the volume of the MP3 player via the volume controls on the
MP3 player unit; the front panel controls on the BPA18 only operate the bass guitar
input/ output signal.
