POSSIBLE REMEDIES

Barrel must be pulled
completely open to

piston

After allowing misfire
procedure, check firing
pin indentation on load.
Clean chamber face.
•
Check all parts in the
receiver for damage or
improper assembly
•
Contact your distributor or
call the offices of Blue
Point Fasteners
•
Disassemble and remove
debris
•
Use a lower charge level.
•
Check the base material
and make sure it's not too
weak
•
Check load strip. If
damaged, dispose it off
appropriately
•
Contact Blue Point for
assistance.

Replace piston

Clean tool properly

Tag tool with warning :
"Defective-Do Not Use".
Place in a locked box and
contact your Blue Point
representative for service

POSSIBLE REMEDIES
•
Wear eye protection. Make
sure tool is unloaded, tap
on hard surface or drive
piston back with a lead or
brass hammer
•
Never try to remove an
unfired, live load from the
chamber. Call Blue Point
for assistance
•
Unscrew fastener guide,
remove buffer and push
the pin out with a
screwdriver
