INSTALLING SANDING BARRELS

Check that the replacement barrel is not damaged.

Ø
Make certain the machine is unplugged from power.
Ø
Depress the lock for the barrel bolt.
Ø
Using a hex wrench unscrew the hex bolt that attaches the barrel to the gearbox.
Ø
Place the new sanding barrel on the machine and securely tighten the barrel locking bolt.

Release lock for the barrel bolt.
Ø
Ø
Double check the metal guard is secure.
Sanding barrels that are damaged should not be used.
Make certain the barrel lock is depressed when tightening or loosening the lock bolt.
