To make routing the interconnect cord
easier, it can be disconnected from the base
unit, and reconnected after you've located
the module where you want it.
INDEPENDENT (ACH-260 ONLY)
The ACH-260 cord connection is a standard
wall plug head. You may plug the satellite
module in to any regular outlet, and con-
trol it independently from the base unit – a
completely separate heater. The base has a
standard AC outlet – remember never to
plug anything other than the satellite
heater module into this outlet.

3. CONTROLING YOUR HEATER

ACH-220 Controls
DISPLAY: indicates the set desired
temperature
POWER button: cycles through the
various power settings for the heater.
Position 1 powers both modules. Position 2 powers only the BOTTOM
MODULE, and Position 3 powers only the TOP MODULE. HOLD THE BUTTON
DOWN FOR 3 SECONDS TO TURN HEATER OFF.
AUTO button: toggles between manual mode and AUTO thermostat control.
When first connected, the unit is in manual mode; the modules run continu-
ously until turned off. One press switches to AUTO, which allows you to set a
desired temperature using the TEMP + and TEMP - buttons. The AUTO light on
the control panel indicates when the heater is in AUTO mode.
UP button: TEMP + button: increases the set desired temperature for
AUTO mode. YOU MUST FIRST SELECT AUTO MODE FOR THIS TEMPERATURE
SETTING TO CONTROL THE HEATER.
DOWN button: TEMP - button: decreases the set desired temperature
for AUTO mode. YOU MUST FIRST SELECT AUTO MODE FOR THIS
TEMPERATURE SETTING TO CONTROL THE HEATER.

Climate Control
Each module of the ACH-260 has an independent control panel. The
controls function differently when the modules are Combined as one heater,
and when they are separated.
COMBINED: The controls on the top
module manage the entire heater as
follows:
Display: indicates the set desired
temperature

TETHERED OR INDEPENDENT: Both modules can be independently powered
and adjusted as follows:

3 seconds turns the module off.
