Shell Removal
1.
Return the chair to upright.
2.
Locate one (1) screw at each point where the chair shell
fabric ends, approximately 6"-7" from the center of the frame.
Work the fabric back to expose the screws. A utility blade maybe
needed to access these screws. Use care and minimal cutting
of fabric to minimize the impact on the final look of the chair
once it is reassembled.
NOTE: Do not remove the screws with the wires attached.

Using a number 2 Phillips screwdriver, remove the two (2)
screws securing the shell assembly to the tube frame.
NOTE: On older lounge seating it will be necessary to cut two
(2) retaining cables between the chair shell and the tube frame
near the support yoke.
NOTE: On older chair seating it will be necessary to cut
two (2) plastic zip ties and two (2) retaining cables
between the chair shell and the tube frame.
4.
If necessary, insert wire cutters between the
chair shell and the mesh fabric on the tube frame.
Cut the retaining cables and/or zip ties to
disconnect the chair shell from the tube frame.
NOTE: CUT RETAINING CABLES AND/OR
ZIP TIES ON OLDER SEATING .
