9. COMPUTER & PRINTER HOOK UP AND VIEWING

The images from the Canon DentalFoto™ can be input into the

computer from either the USB card reader (provided) or direct connect

with a USB cable (provided). The camera includes the latest Pic

Bridge technology allowing direct connection to Pic Bridge printers.

a. The card reader is plug and play for Windows XP® , Windows

2000® and ME operating systems. Use the driver disc provided in

the Canon box for Windows 98 operating systems.

b. Once plugged in, Windows® recognizes the card reader and

assigns it drive letters, for example, E, F, G, and H. These can be

seen in My Computer. The Secure Digital (SD) memory card

images are found in one of the drive letters. Once opened, the

correct drive letter will show the folder DCIM. Your image files

are found inside the DCIM folder usually 100CANON.

c. Images can also be viewed on a television screen directly from the

camera through a video cable (provided).
