The power switch
The off position is in the middle. CAMERA mode allows you to record footage and
MEDIA mode allows you to review your footage.
The LCD screen
You can use the LCD screen or the
viewfinder at the rear of the camera.
If you are in a situation where there
is risk of damaging the LCD screen
then we would ask you to use the
viewfinder.
The LCD screen can be flipped to face
forwards, however the mirror button
(on the back of the LCD screen)
needs to be pressed to invert the
image.
Always put the LCD screen back in its
stowed position when you have
finished using the camera.
To save battery power, the
viewfinder is deactivated when the
LCD display is used. This can be
changed in settings.
If when using the viewfinder the
image looks blurred but it looks ok
on the LCD screen, check the Dioptric
focus slider underneath the
viewfinder.
