The Zodiac Door Control Module (ZDCM) is available in two mounting assemblies. In either case the ZDCM
should be installed on the secure side of the door.
1. HEATSHRUNK PCB
The standard mounting method for the ZDCM

ARE YOU USING A DOOR CONTACT ON THE ZDCM?
NO
– You must short the door contact points on the board (see diagram at right). Unlock
time is fixed at seven (7) seconds. The right LED on the front of the reader will turn
GREEN
during the unlock time.
YES
– Unlock time is seven (7) seconds. However, when you open and re-close the door before the unlock time
ends, the unlock time is terminated and the door will relock upon closing. The right LED on the front of
the reader will turn
