Step 5
Change wifi name and password
The standard WIFI Network Name is named after the make
and model of the device. For our users to find this
connection, we need to change the name of the WIFI
network.
1.
Click on the button named 'Router Setup'. You will
open a window that looks like the one depicted on
the right.
2.
Select the NetWork Name (SSID) input field and
change it to "Hack the world play".
3.
Everyone is allowed to access this network, so leave
the 'Password' input field blank. No password is
needed to connect to this network.
4.
Do the same for the 5 GHz network.
5.
Press "Apply" to confirm the new names.
* 5 GHz is a secondary wifi connection which has a longer range (how far you can
be from the wifi and still be connected) and faster bandwidth (How fast the wifi
is updating). You can use the same NetWork Name, and add '_5G' to it.
