Sensitivity
A measure of the incident light required

is given in lux or foot-candles.
Signal to Noise Ratio
The ratio between a useful video signal
and unwanted noise. It is measured in
dB.
Slow shutter
An alternative for increasing camera
sensitivity.
SmartBLC
The backlight compensation window
and weighting factor are automatically
defined. The camera dynamically adjusts
these for changing light conditions.
Spot Filter
A graduated filter in a lens used in a lens
to increase the f-stop range of the lens.
Synchronization
Electronic pulses that are inserted into
the video signal in order to assemble
the picture correctly.
