10. TROUBLESHOOTING

WARNING: For your own safety always turn the main switch on the machine "off" and

remove the plug from the power supply before carrying out any maintenance or trouble

shooting.

Problem

Drill does not

work.

Chuck does not

close or grip.

Cause

1. Flat battery.

2. Forward/Reverse

not selected.

1. Iock screw loose.

2. Swarf in chuck.

Remedy

1. Charge battery.

2. Select forward or reverse.

1. Open chuck fully and tighten screw

(left hand thread).

2. Clean inside chuck with cleaning fluid.
