Care and Maintenance

This wooden bench is a natural timber product. The color of each wood slat may vary slightly. This is

characteristic of natural wood and enhances the natural beauty of the product.

To remove any moss and dirt, gently clean with mild detergent or suitable wood cleaner using a non-

abrasive brush. Rinse off thoroughly with clean water. Follow instructions that come with the cleaner.

ll hardware should be checked prior to use each season and from time to time when in use. Re-tighten

as necessary to ensure that the bench is securely assembled.

s a natural product, it is possible that knots can work loose and sometimes fall out. Wood pitch may

appear. Clean off wood pitch and lightly sand the affected area, and re-coat as necessary.

To prolong the appearance and life of this product, we recommend that go to your local home center or

hardware store to obtain a quality water-based wood preservative finish to re-coat the bench. The

frequency of this re-coating depends on the product's outdoor exposure conditions. If necessary, sand

lightly prior to re-coating. Follow the instructions that come with the wood finish.

t the end of the season, remove any moss stains, dirt and debris prior to storage in a sheltered area.

Ensure product is kept dry.
