INSTALLATION

You must open the casing in order to

gain access to module's configuration

switches and to the terminal blocks. To

do this, insert a screwdriver into the slot

and tilt it downward to lift the inside tab

(see photo opposite). Then pull on the

back panel to separate the two parts of

the casing.

For optimal results, it is recommended

that you install the modem away from

all environmental obstructions, at least

2m above the ground and not right

against a wall — ideally at least 20cm

away. The cables must be no longer

than 10m and must be shielded.

Note that the antenna is integrated into

the casing.

The casing can be mounted on a flat

wall or on a tube, depending on the

installation type you prefer.

You can cut power to the device by placing a

magnet on the right side. A keep-alive frame and a

test frame are transmitted automatically when the

device starts up, allowing you to verify the

installation on-site. Because the product consumes

very little power in stand-by mode, you may have to

leave the magnet in place for 30 seconds to ensure

that the device restarts correctly.
