3.2 Settings for 2D Reflectivity Data
Reflectivity contrast threshold
... defines the height at which hills and valleys are separated for the reflectivity
contrast calculation. The range is from -1.0 to +1.0. The default setting is 0,
which is also used in the instrument firmware.
Reflectivity contrast threshold = 0 means that the mean height of the topo-
graphy data is used as threshold. A value of -1.0 means that the lowest point is
used as threshold. This selects all data as hills. A value of +1.0 generates the op-
posite output. The relative threshold parameter ensures the comparability
between different samples.
