2 - Device Installation
Your device comes with its wall bracket and mounting screws. The choice of screws and anchors depends on
your wall type, so you must ensure that you are using the appropriate screws and anchors based on device
weight.
To facilitate installation, this device has been designed to stand up during connection and bracket installation.
Once the device is standing, you may remove the wall bracket to be used as a template for drilling the holes.
2 .1 - Installation Rules
This device has been designed to be installed in a residential area.
Installation must comply with good practice and applicable standards in the country where it is installed (NFC
15100 for France).
Observe minimal distances from furniture when placing the device (see diagram).
If you have a wall covering over foam you must place a shim under the device support of an equal thickness to
the foam in order to maintain the free space behind the device and not hinder
its operation.
Do not install the device:
- In an air fl ow which may hinder operation (under a controlled mechanical
ventilation, etc.)
- Under a power socket.
- In bathroom volume 1.
Devices used in bathrooms must be installed such that the switches and
other control systems may not be touched by a person in the bath or
shower.
