1. Changing the Door Hinge

Problem

The (LED) lighting does not

work.

Unpleasant smells are

noticeable.

In the appliance a layer of ice

is forming.

Appliance doors can only be

closed with difficulty.

After-sales Service

You can find your local After-sales Service centre in the

phone book or the After-sales Service directory. Please

quote the product number (E no.) and production

number (FD no.) of your appliance.

You will find this information on the rating plate.

Please help us to avoid unnecessary journeys by

quoting the appliance and production number. By

doing so, you will save any associated additional

charges.

Possible cause

The LED lighting is faulty.

Door switch is sticking.

The appliance door was opened for

too long.

The lighting switches off after

approx. 10 minutes.

Strongly smelling food not packed in

air-tight containers.

The ventilation openings are covered. Remove any obstructions.

The appliance door was not closed

completely.

The door seal is dirty.

Food prevent the doors from closing

correctly.

The appliance is not evenly aligned.

Remedy

See section headed Lighting (LED).

Check whether you can move the door

switch.

After closing and opening the appliance

door, the lighting is switched on again.

Clean the appliance. Pack strongly smelling

food in air-tight containers (see section

headed Smells).

Close the appliance door completely.

Clean the door seal. See section headed

Cleaning the appliance.

Remove any obstructions.

Align the appliance evenly. See section

headed Aligning the appliance.
