Check Agitator-
1.
Check the agitator for wear and pitting in the shaft surface. The surface should be very smooth without grooves, pits or a
thinned diameter.
2.
The agitator can be installed if the packing has not been disturbed. Push and twist until the agitator is completely seated on
the vessel bottom.
3. Replace the motor and cabinet bottom. Follow the procedure for tightening the packing on the bottom of page 3.

Packing and Agitator Replacement
A2000/A2000I
Note:
The
Collar must rest against
the
Digestion Vessel when
installed.
Replacing the Packing-
1.
The packing is removed using a screwdriver.
2.
The packing consists of two carbon ropes and one compressed
graphite cylinder. When removed, it will look similar to the image
on the left. Ensure both ropes are removed or the new packing
will not fit.
