Instructions
This styling iron is designed for safety and
performance. This appliance may have a
polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other.) As a safety feature, this plug will fit
into a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician. Do not attempt to
defeat this safety feature.

HELPFUL STYLING HINTS
• Hair should be clean and dried
completely before using any styling tool.
• Plug the straightener into an electrical
outlet and slide the power On / Off
switch to the "On" position.
• Turn the heat setting dial to select
the heat level best suited to your hair
type. The fiber optic heat indicators
will change color from yellow at
lower temperatures, to green at higher
temperatures.

Important: When using the straightener
iron for the first time, select the LOWEST
heat setting and test in one small section of
hair for 5 to 8 seconds. If you want to use
a higher setting, be sure to GRADUALLY
increase the temperature. Never style hair for
the first time on a high setting as this may
damage your hair. Use only as much heat
as you need for effective styling. Over time,
using more heat than is necessary can result
in hair damage.
• When styling is complete, turn the
straightener off by sliding the power On /
Off switch to the "Off" position, unplug it
from the electrical outlet, and let it cool
completely before storing.
• Allow hair to cool before combing,
brushing, or touching.
