Unpack the device and check it for transport damage. Re-

move any stickers / ﬁ lms. If you ﬁ nd any damage, do not

use the device (!), but rather contact the customer service

department.

Inserting / Changing the Battery

PLEASE NOTE!

■

Switch off the device before changing the battery.

One 1.5 V battery of the AAA type is required.

1. Twist the battery compartment cover (4) anticlockwise

a little and pull it off the handle (2).

2. If present, remove the used battery and dispose of it in

an environmentally friendly way.

3. Insert a new 1.5 V battery (AAA) into the battery com-

partment (3). Pay attention to the correct polarity (+ / –).

4. Place the battery compartment cover back on the han-

dle and twist it shut again.

PLEASE NOTE!

If using the device is unpleasant or painful, you should

stop immediately.

Replace the battery when the power of the device

starts to wane (see "Inserting / Changing the Bat-

tery").

We recommend ﬁ ling, smoothing or polishing nails to pre-

serve them no more than twice a month.

Customer Service / Importer:

1. Ensure that the nails are clean, dry and free of any oil

or grease.

2. Pull the protective cap (5) off the device.

3. Slide the On / Off switch (6) upwards to switch on the

device.

6. Once all nails have been ﬁ led and smoothed, switch

off the device by sliding the On / Off switch downwards.

7. Place the protective cap on the device when it is not

in use.

Cleaning and Storage

For hygiene reasons, the device should be cleaned after

every use.

1. Wipe down the attachment (1) with a wet cloth and then

dry it thoroughly with a dry cloth.

2. Wipe down the housing (2) if necessary with a damp

cloth and then dry it with a soft cloth.

3. Place the protective cap (5) back on the device.

4. Store the device in a dry place that is protected from

sunlight and is not accessible to children and animals

at room temperature.

Disposal

Dispose of the packaging material in an environmen-

tally friendly manner and take it to a recycling centre.

manner at a recycling centre for used electrical and

electronic devices. More information is available

from your local authorities.

Batteries should be removed prior to disposal of the

device and disposed of separately from the device at

suitable collection points.

slowly move it back and forth

on the edge of the nail with-

out applying pressure until

the nail has the shape and

length you want.

5. After ﬁ ling the nail, place the

attachment on the nail direct-

ly and move it over the nail

slowly and without applying

pressure until it is smooth.
