Putting into operation

Please observe the following instructions when commissioning and using the machine in order to obtain optimum counting

results.

•

Connect the power plug to the socket.

Now connect the power cable to the CCE 5060 and switch it on at the back of the unit.

•

The CCE 5060 now carries out a self-test in which all sensors and motors are tested. This test takes about 10 seconds. If

•

an error message appears, please refer to the error messages table on the later pages of this manual.

•

Select the desired currency and counting modes.

Push the banknotes on a straight surface so that the banknotes are flush on one long side and insert the banknotes -

•

with the flush side towards the back of the device - into the feeder. Slide the two banknote guides up to the stack so

that the notes can be drawn in optimally.

•

If the banknotes are not inserted correctly, miscounts or non-recognition and sorting of banknotes may occur.

If a banknote is not correctly recognized or is suspected of being counterfeit, it will be rejected in the reject tray and the

•

other banknotes will continue to pass the test. The suspicious banknote can be removed after the counting process and

checked again separately.
