Credit card verification
To check the UV security features of credit cards or other documents
with the same UV wavelength, shortly press the UV / ▲▼ button.
The display now shows UV and banknote feeding is disabled. The
three UV LEDs on the back of the unit light up. Hold the card behind
the device to illuminate the area of the security zone. Make sure that
the ambient light is not too bright.
On the credit cards you can now see the UV characteristics (e.g. M C
on Mastercard, V on Visa Card or AMEX lettering on American
Express Card.)
To switch off the UV check, press the UV / ▲▼ button again. The
banknote feeder is released again.
Update function
Open the battery pocket and insert the MicroSD card into MicroSD card socket, then connect the machine to the external power
supply.
Press and hold the "ON/OFF" key and "CLEAR/MODE" key simultaneously, when the buzzer beeps for 2 times and the green
indicator light is lightened all the time, it means the machine has entered download mode. The display will show in this mode
several "-" symbols. Then the device will start the software download automatically. After the downloading job is finished, the
machine will beep for 2 times and automatically turn off. Please remove the card and switch on the unit for use.
Please note that it is necessary to use the power supply for the update procedure. You can't update the machine in battery
mode.
