identification of the valve
On the armature tube you will find:

Mounting the valve

Clean the pipe fittings before
mounting the valve.

Mount filter in front of the valve if
there are impurities in media.

The arrow cast on the body must
point in the direction of the flow. It
can be found on the bottom or side
of the valve.

Mount the valve as shown in the
picture. The valve can be mounted
with a maximum angle of 90° from
the upright position.

Use counterforce when tightening
the pipe connections, i.e. use a span-
ner on both the valve body as well as
on the pipe connector.

The pipes on both sides of the valve
must be securely fastened.

Test the system.
Maximum pressure is 25 bar.
Mounting the coil
You can only use a click-on coil for an
eV251B valve

Mount leads as shown in the picture.
Earth has to be mounted on the flat
pin.

Mount the O-ring.

Click the coil onto the valve.

The cable has to be mounted as
shown in the picture to avoid water
coming into the cable fitting.

Coil replacement

Disconnected the voltage before
removing the coil. Otherwise the
coil will burn out.

Use a screwdriver to lever the coil
from the armature.
Trouble shooting
Failure : The valve does not close.
possible cause:
- The differential pressure is too high.
- The coil is defective.
- Dirt particles are blocking the
armature.(2)
Failure : The valve does not open.
possible cause :
- The small equalizing orifice (1) has
become blocked by dirt particles.
- The valve may be mounted in the
wrong direction. Check the arrow on
the valve body to ensure it points in
the flow direction!
Failure : The valve leaks.
possible cause:
- Dirt may be lodged between
diaphragm and valve orifice.
