Rulesfor Safe Installationand Operation
1. Readthe Owner'sManualfor SafeOperationcarefully. F ailureto follow
the rulesfor safeoperation andtheinstructions c ancausea malfunction o f
the boiler and result in death, _rious bodily injury, and/or property
damage.
2. Checkyour localcodes and utilityrequirements beforeinstallation. The
installation mustbe in accordance withtheirdirectives, or followNFPA31
- Installation o f Oil Burning Equipment, latestrevision.
3. Beforeservicing, a llowboilerto cool.Nwaysshut offanyelectricity and
oil to boilerwhenworkingon it. Thiswill prevent a nyelectrical s hocksor
burns.
4. Inspect o il lineandconnections f orleaks.
5. Be certain oil burnernozzleis size required.Overfiring will result in
earlyfailureofthe boilersections. T hiswill causedangerous operation.
6. Never vent this boiler into an enclosedspace.Alwaysvent to the
outside.Nevervent to anotherroomor insidea building.
7. Be surethereis adequate air supply for complete combustion.
8. Followa regutar s erviceand maintenance s chedule forefficient a nd
safeoperation.
9. Keepboilerareacleanandfreeof combustible material, g asolineand
otherflammable vaporsand liquids.
This boiler has been designed for residential installations. If used for commercial
applications,all jurisdictionalrequirements must be met. This may requirewiringandlor
piping modifications. T he manufactureris not responsiblefor any changesto the original
design.

ratingplateon the boiler.
You must see that the boiler is suppliedwith the properoil, fresh air for
combustion,and a suitable electricalsupply.Also, the boiler must be
connectedto a suitableventingsystemand an adequatepiping system.
Finally,a thermostat, p roperlylocated,is neededfor controlof the heating
system.If you haveany doubtsas to the variousrequirements, checkwith
local authorities and obtain professional help where needed. THE
