STEP 2:

Secure and position the steam mop to ensure that the steam released is aimed away

from the floor or surrounding objects and surfaces.

STEP 3:

Plug the steam mop into the mains power supply and turn it on; allow it to produce

steam until all of the solution is used.

STEP 4:

Repeat the above procedure as often as necessary, then fill the tank with fresh water

and rinse.

Warning: Do not leave the steam mop unattended during the limescale removal process or

during use.

Note: Perform a test on a suitable isolated surface after limescale removal to ensure that there

is no debris left in the unit.

Note: Due to the nature of UK water supplies, some areas of the country experience larger

amounts of limescale build-up. If you live in one of these areas you may need to decalcify the unit

more often.

Removing Calcium Deposits from the Water Tank

Add one or two tablespoons of white vinegar to a full water tank and close it. Shake the

contents, then rinse thoroughly.

Clearing Blockages

Ensure that the steam mop is switched off and has cooled fully.

If there is a blockage in the steam nozzle, use the cleaning needle provided to clean the blockage

by inserting it into the steam nozzle hole (figure 7).

After using the cleaning needle, add a descaling solution to the tank (see the section entitled

'Removing Limescale') and follow the steps listed.
