Indications
> P ostoperative for stabilization and off-loading
> Postoperative healing (e.g. foot osteotomies)
> Trauma care
> Presence of K-wire (Does not apply to APB™ or APQ™)
Contraindications
> Open fractures
Cleaning Instructions/Maintenance
> W hen the shoe is slightly dirty, clean it with a damp cloth or a soft brush.
> A llow the shoe to air dry only.
Instructions for use
T he DARCO® healing shoe provides stabilization, shock absorption, and pressure off-loading
after foot surgery. The shoe fits right and left equally.
1. O pen the shoe by means of the closures.
2. P lease ensure that the foot is properly positioned in the shoe.
3. S ecure the foot in the shoe with the closures.
