3. Initial use and installation
Take the device out of the package and remove all the packaging
material. Open the HDD case by pressing the release on the back of the
unit and sliding the case open. Connect the desired M.2 SSD and secure
it with one of the clips. When inserting the board, make sure that it is
inserted correctly.
In order to connect the device, you have to connect the USB cable to
a USB port on your computer and the hard drive enclosure. The drive
should now appear, e.g., in Explorer or be configurable under disk
management.
