Mode 1 (Power Up Mode)

Mac Users: Disconnect your FireWire connection before changing modes or your Mac
computer will lock up.
To change modes please do the following:
To go to mode 2, press and hold the encode button for 3 seconds and release. The 12
bit and 16 bit encode LED's will alternate as a confirmation.
To go to mode 3 press and hold the encode button again for 3 seconds and release.
The CV and S/YUV LED's will alternate as a confirmation.
If the encode button is pressed and held again the DAC-2 will go back Mode 1". It is confirmed
by the 12 bit and 16 bit encode LED's staying lit for 2 seconds.
Sometimes one power supply can get confused with another. The DAC-2 uses a 9 VDC
1200mA, AC adaptor. Using the wrong power supply can cause the DAC-2 to become
unstable or not power on.
Windows 2000.
MACs (running OS X) or Windows XP computers.
General setting for other DV devices (Cameras, etc.)
