How To Lower Drill Once Unfolded:

Note: Always unfold the drill before lowering to avoid

tire damage. If a selector valve is installed, make sure

it is set for transport lift.

1) Slowly extend the lift cylinders. Set the tractor

hydraulic lever to neutral. Move the center transport

lift handle up to FIELD position to release the trans-

port lock.

2) Slowly lower the drill. Keep the circuit engaged until

both lift cylinders are completely retracted and wing

tilt cylinders are extended. Set the circuit to neutral.

3) If operating in the field, position all opener lock han-

dles in FIELD position.

4) Completely raise the openers to allow the spring

loaded opener locks to disengage.

Feed Cup Flap Adjustment:

A handle (1) at the rear center of each drill box adjusts

the feed cup flap for seed size or clean-out.

The handle has five positions:

1) Position 1 - small seeds

2) Position 2, 3, and 4 - medium to extra large

3) Position 5 - Clean out

To change positions, pull out the handle and move it

to the appropriate position. Set all boxes the same.

Feed Cup Slide Gate Adjustment:

Each slide gate (4) has three positions:

1) Position A (4) - closed

2) Position B (5) - partially open

3) Position C (6) - fully open
