Scanning sensitivity switch
H – fast analysis in normal conditions (default setting)
M – more accurate analysis, used in case of EMC interference
L – most accurate analysis. Used in case of EMC interference and large temperature differences
Sensitivity switch
IR sensor
Operating modes:
Mode 1 – After sending the first motion detection signal, the detector does not send any more signals by the next 240 seconds. This mode is used
in locations where there are many people, who frequently activate the detector.
Mode 2 – After sending the first motion detection signal, the detector does not send any more signals by the next 35 seconds. This mode is used,
for example, in warehouses, where people do not generate a high traffic.
Mode 3 – After sending the first motion detection signal, the detector does not send any more signals by the next 10 seconds. This mode is mainly
used for testing. It is set by default.
Installation scheme
Mount the ball in the bracket
Install the detector in the bracket
Avoid obstacles
located in front
of the detector
Mode switch
Dismantling sensor
External power socket (12V)
Battery connection
LED mode switch
Install the bracket
at 2 to 2.5m
Avoid installing
it close to heaters
or air conditioners
Avoid installing close to equipment
which may cause EMC interference
Activating the detector
Once the batteries are installed, the detector sends an activation signal. After the signal is sent, the detector
switches to auto-test mode, which may take 60 seconds. The LED blinks at short intervals. After a successful
auto-test, the detector starts operating normally, and the LED blinking intervals become longer. The user may
test the operation by moving within the sensing range. Motion detection is indicated by an activated LED and
a signal transmitted to the alarm control panel.
Battery test
The detector checks the battery voltage. In case the voltage drops to the alarm threshold, the detector
transmits a signal to the alarm control panel, and its LED blinks every 15 seconds. In such a case, you must
immediately replace the batteries.
NOTE
Install and use the detector as recommended in this manual.
Do not touch any surface of the sensor, as it may reduce its sensing capability. If the device is contaminated,
remove the batteries to turn off the detector and then wipe the sensor with a soft cloth moistened with alcohol.
