Quick Installation Guide
1. For safety reasons, please turn off your Mac and unplug all components.
2. Put the workstation aside to ensure the internal temperature is suitable for installation. Touch
the chassis with your hand to release static electricity.
3. Remove the side pane
4. Remove the PCI bracket – Loosen the two thumbscrews that holds the PCI-Express cards in place
and remove the bracket and the port access cover.
5. Plug the Rocket Dual eSATA 6Gb/s For Mac host adapter into an empty PCI-Express slot.
6. Install the PCI bracket and tighten the thumb screw.
7. Insert the side panel and close the latch Reconnect the external cable and power cord. Turn on
the power of your Mac Pro.
