Installing Printer Ink*
Epson 4100/4105
Press the right arrow until the
•
"Maintenance" icon, then press OK
Press the down arrow until the "Ink
•
Cartridge Replacement" icon, then press
OK
Press OK at the warning
•
Lift the top of the printer and wait for the
•
printhead to stop moving
Remove cartridge from its packaging, then
•
remove the yellow tab
Each slot is clearly marked with which
•
color belongs there
Insert the cartridge with the label facing
•
left, then gently press down until it clicks
When finished, shut the top and press ok
•
The printer will initialize the cartridges,
•
which may take a few minutes
*These instructions will work with both the E and U models for these Epson printers. A sticker will be on your printer to remind you if
you have the E or U model. The color of the sticker will match the color on the appropriate ink cartridge packaging.
Epson 2830/2850
Press the right arrow until the "Settings"
•
icon, then press OK
Press the right arrow until the

"Maintenance" icon, then press OK
Press the right arrow until the "Ink
•
Cartridge Replacement" icon, then press
OK
When the screen says, "Replace ink
•
cartridges", lift the top of the printer, then
press the diamond shaped button
Wait for the printhead to stop moving
•
Remove cartridge from its packaging, then
•
remove the yellow tab
