Step 3 Use the toolbar at the playing window bottom to start live view of all cameras, capture

picture, start audio on/off, digital zoom, etc.

4.5 Configuring Event Settings

You can configure the basic events (motion detection, video tampering detection, video loss

detection, exception, etc.) and smart events (intrusion detection, line crossing detection, region

entrance/exiting detection, etc.). And the events can trigger the linkage actions, such as notifying

surveillance center, sending Email, triggering alarm output, etc.

The following section takes the motion detection configuration as the example.

Step 1 Go to Configuration > Event > Basic Event.

Step 2 Select the camera to configure the event detection.

Step 3 Check Enable Motion Detection.

Step 4 Draw the motion detection area.

Step 5 Set the arming schedule for motion detection.

Step 6 Set the alarm linkage actions for motion detection.

Step 7 Click Save.
