Maintenance
Caution: Before plugging in or unplugging Friji Fan, be sure hands and feet
are dry and you are standing on dry ground.
Always unplug Friji Fan before maintaining.
Do not immerse appliance in water.
Do not get water in motor while cleaning.
Do not use harsh, abrasive cleaners.
Filter: Replace the filter in the bottom of the base unit when it shows wear.
Nozzles: Replace the nozzles when they become clogged.
Fuse: The fuse in your Friji Fan can be easily replaced. If your fan ceases to oper-
ate, we can help you determine if the fuse could be the problem. We will be happy
to explain or walk you through the procedure of replacing it. Use only fuses rated as
250V/3.15A to prevent shock or damage to the appliance. It can be purchased at most
automotive supply stores.
Removing mineral deposit buildup: Periodically clean your Friji Fan with a solution
of vinegar and water, as described in the cleaning section.

Storage
Caution: Always unplug Friji Fan before removing water. Before unplugging,

Remove all water before long-term storage.
Clean water reservoir and inside of base unit with water and vinegar solution as
described in the cleaning section.
Clean filter as described in the cleaning section.
Clean the blade guard and outside of appliance as described in the cleaning section.
Return Friji to original box and store in a temperature controlled area.
