damagetotheequipment,andvoidyourwarrantyandyourauthorityto

chargetothecustomerforpartsorlabor,providedthatthecustomer

shallberesponsibleforanytransportationcost.Thiswarrantydoes

notapplyto:(i)cosmeticdamage,suchasscratches,nicksanddents;

(ii)consumableparts,suchasbatteries,unlessproductdamagehas

occurredduetoadefectinmaterialsorworkmanship;(iii)damage

causedbyaccident,abuse,misuse,water,flood,fire,orotheractsof

natureorexternalcauses;(iv)damagecausedbyserviceperformed

byanyonewhoisnotanauthorizedserviceproviderofGarmin;or(v)

damagetoaproductthathasbeenmodifiedoralteredwithoutthe

writtenpermissionofGarmin.Inaddition,Garminreservestherightto

refusewarrantyclaimsagainstproductsorservicesthatareobtained

and/orusedincontraventionofthelawsofanycountry.

Thisproductisintendedtobeusedonlyasatravelaidandmustnot

beusedforanypurposerequiringprecisemeasurementofdirection,

distance,locationortopography.Garminmakesnowarrantyastothe
