ENTERING AND EDITING TEXT
Entering Text from the Keyboard
The keyboard of your P-touch can be used in the same way as a standard
computer keyboard.
Using Text Reminder
When a character is entered, the machine remembers character sequences
beginning with the character entered from a history of all printed character
sequences to date and displays a list of options from which to select.
1. Enter "C"
2. The machine displays the last word printed beginning with the letter "C"
such as "computer"
3. Press the OK key to display other word options that match the entered
character.
4. Press the OK or Enter key. The selected character word will then appear
on the text.
Adding a New Line
To end the current line of text and start a new line, press the Enter key. A
return mark appears at the end of the line and the cursor moves to the start
of the new line.
Adding a New Block
To create a new block of text/lines to the right of your current text, press the
Shift key and then press the Enter key. The cursor moves to the start of
the new block.
