After the above Event 1 occurred, when you execute the system shutdown and

restart using the shutdown(1M) command and the init(1M) command, the Solaris

OS shutdown may be suspended.

Example of Event 2 using the shutdown(1M) -i0 option:

# /usr/sbin/shutdown -y -i0 -g0

Shutdown started.
