eplaCinG the

Misfeeds can be caused by a worn Pick Roller. The life span of the Pick

Rollers is about 200,000 sheets or 1 year if maintained properly. If NCR

or carbonless paper is used the life span may be decreased by half.

•

Lift the ADF Lever and

open the ADF.

•

Remove the two thumb

screws and lift the Pick

Roller Cover out of the

ADF.

•

Compress the ends of

the retaining hook and

remove from the groove

in the shaft.

•

Slide the retaining hook

and Bushing A toward

the sponge roller.

•

Slide the roller shaft

towards the center of

the scanner (direction of

Arrow A) to remove the

roller shaft from the rear

ADF frame.

•

Now slide toward the

back of the scanner

(direction of Arrow B) to

remove the Pick Roller

Shaft from the ADF.

•

Remove the bushings and the retaining hook from the roller shaft.
