Formatting Secure MO disk

Please open the key when you format Secure MO disk.

Even if Secure MO disk is reformatted, the password is not deleted.

1. Select [Tools] - [Format].

2. The format dialog is displayed. Select the file system

in pull down menu. Enter Volume Label if necessary. Click the

[Start] button to begin foramtting.

• It is possible to format a disk quickly if Quick Format is

selected on a disk that has previously been formatted.

• NTFS can be selected File system in Windows 2000 or

Windows XP. However, when MO disk is formatted in

NTFS, the disk cannot be used with Windows 98 and

Windows Me.

• The screen is Windows 2000. OS, screen, differ.

3. A warning message is displayed, click the [OK] button.

4. Format completion dialog is displayed. Click the [OK]

button.
