Instructions for rack installation
CAUTION
•
When installing this device in the rack, two or

when multiple devices are to be mounted and
running, it is important to realize that the
temperature inside the cabinet will be

temperatures do not exceed the
environmental conditions for temperature
described in the manuals of the devices that
are being used. Failure to do so may damage
this device.

When installing this device with other devices
into the same rack, the airflow of the device
installed on and under this device may
interfere with each other and reduce the effect
of device cooling. Make sure to leave plenty of
room between the devices if required. Failure
to do so may damage this device and lead to
malfunction.
•
When installing this device in a rack, be
careful not to pinch your fingers in the rack.
Doing so may cause injury.
•
When installing devices in a rack, make sure
to install them starting from the bottom of the
rack and working upward to ensure the center
of gravity is maintained. If the bottom of the
rack is empty and devices are only installed at
t he to p o f t h e ra ck , t he rack b e co m es
unstable, which may cause injury and damage
the devices.
•
Install the blank panels provided with the rack
where no other devices are installed. Failure
to do so may cause this device to overheat,
resulting in damage to the device.
•
When moving the rack after installing this
device, make sure to contact your sales
representative or your maintenance engineer.
Do not move the rack by yourself. Doing so
may cause injury and/or damage this device.
