Detergents and additives
Only use detergents and additives suitable for use in a washing
machine. Read the manufacturer's instructions and respect sections
about detergents dispenser and detergents.
We advise against using several types of washing powder at the same
time. You might damage the laundry.
The quantity of detergent to be used depends upon the amount of
laundry to be washed, the hardness of the water and how dirty the
laundry is.
If the water is soft, slightly decrease the doses. If the water is hard (the
use of a water softener is advised) or if the laundry is very dirty or
stained, increase the doses a little.
You can find out the degree of hardness of your water by contacting
your local water company or any other competent authority.
Powder detergents can be used without restriction.
Liquid detergents must not be used when selecting a pre-wash. For any
cycle without pre-wash, they can be either be poured into a dosing ball
placed directly in the drum or into the washing compartment. In either
case, the washing cycle must be started immediately.
Tablet detergents or individually dosed detergents must be placed in
the washing compartment of the detergent drawer in your appliance.
To treat stains before the washing cycle, follow the doses and
instructions recommended by the manufacturer of the product. If you
use the detergent product to treat stains, you must start the washing
cycle immediately.
