2.6.4: Minimum diameter of the pan base:
The minimum diameter of the base of a pan to "close" the circuit of the inductor and makes it operate in the
correct way changes according to the material which the pan is made of.
However, we will try to give the following standard measures:

• for the small inductor, if the diameter is 150 mm, the "real minimum contact surface" of the pan is approx.
100 mm
• for the large inductor, if the diameter is 200 mm, the working surface of the pan will be approx. 110
mm.
NOTE: this is possible because the inductor is fi tted with a single-coil.
It is not indicated in the handbook.
CHAPTER 3: COMPONENTS
Power board
This new platform introduces some modifi cations in the structure of the power boards. The radio interferen-
ce suppressor has been printed in a single PCB, together with the power board.
Each power board can control two inductors or only one inductor having special characteristics.
All the power boards used in the fi rst production of the inductor platform are similar (in the way of opera-
tion, in the electrical connections and in dimensions), so they are interchangeable to test them if a bad
functioning is suspected
Display board
The display board in induction hobs consists of other two boards: a Touch board (located in the upper part)
and a Visual board (located in the lower part); they are assembled together and they are managed as only
one spare part code in the warehouse.
