Install the Grab Bar
Lock Washer/Contre-écrou/Arandela de fijación
Apply sealant.

IMPORTANT! Access to the back of the bath is required to install the grab bar. The
grab bar must be installed before the bath is moved into place.
Carefully thread the studs all the way into the grab bar. Back the studs out three
turns. Failure to back the studs out will result in damage to the grab bar surface.
Apply a small amount of silicone sealant to each end of the grab bar and install
the grab bar through the predrilled holes in the bath wall.
Apply a small amount of silicone sealant to the threads of the hex nuts and studs.
Install the large washers, lock washers, and hex nuts on the studs.
Hold the studs in place with a hex wrench and hand tighten the nuts.
Tighten the hex nuts 1-1/4 turn further with an open end wrench.
Remove any excess sealant from the grab bar and the inside of the bath.
Installer la barre d'appui
IMPORTANT! Prévoir un accès à l'arrière de la baignoire pour installer la barre
d'appui. La barre d'appui doit être installée avant que la baignoire ne soit mise en
place.
Enfiler avec précaution les goujons jusqu'au bout dans la barre d'appui. Dévissez
les tiges filetées de trois tours. Le non-respect de ces instructions peut entraîner un
endommagement de la surface de la barre d'appui.
Appliquer une petite quantité de mastic d'étanchéité à la silicone sur chaque
extrémité de la barre d'appui, puis monter celle-ci par les orifices percés à l'avance
dans la paroi de la baignoire.
Appliquer du mastic silicone aux filets des écrous hexagonaux et aux tiges.
Installer les larges rondelles, les rondelles de blocage et les écrous hexagonaux sur
les tiges.
Tenir les goujons en place avec une clé hexagonale et fixer les écrous à la main.
Serrer les écrous hexagonaux d'1-1/4 de tour de plus avec une clé à fourche.
Retirer tout excédent de mastic d'étanchéité et saisir la barre à l'intérieur de la
baignoire.
