10. BEFORE INSTALLING UNIT

A. TILING-IN BEAD INSTALLATION – DROP-IN

MODELS ONLY

An optional tiling-in bead is recommended for the side of

the whirlpool that contacts the wall. This bead prevents

water from seeping between the whirlpool and the wall.

Refer to Ordering Information located in the Roughing-In

section beginning on Page 4.

Install this bead now. Refer to the installation instructions

packed with the tiling-in bead.

B. PARTIALLY INSTALL BATH DRAIN

Install the drain on the bath according to the drain

manufacturer's instructions. When installing the drain

overflow tube and hood, be sure to adequately seal

along the edges of the hood to prevent leakage.

C. PROTECT WHIRLPOOL UNIT

Position a drop cloth or similar material in the bottom of

the unit. Be careful not to scratch the surface of the

product.
